Keyamo Vows to Act Before Tinubu Can Dismiss Him

Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation, expressed his determination to take proactive measures in the aviation sector to prevent being dismissed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In an interview with African Independent Television, Keyamo highlighted the necessity for the ministry to maintain control over the aviation sector's operations.

He noted that previously, the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria managed operations without direct interference from the ministry. However, Keyamo acknowledged that the ultimate responsibility lies with the ministry, and he is prepared to make direct decisions that will influence the agency's operations.

He emphasized that he would not wait for the President to remove him from office before taking action, indicating his readiness to ensure accountability and effective management within the aviation sector.
