Rotimi Amaechi Vows Support for ADC Presidential Candidate Regardless of Region

Rotimi Amaechi, a former Minister of Transport and ex-Rivers State Governor, declared his commitment to supporting the eventual presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) irrespective of their regional background. Speaking in Kano, Nigeria, Amaechi emphasized the party's focus on unity and strength as key priorities leading up to the 2025 general elections.

He expressed readiness to back the best candidate capable of delivering convincing results and driving positive change. Amaechi hinted at his intention to contest for the ADC presidential nomination, promising to serve a single four-year term and ensure power rotation returns to the North in line with the party's principles.
