Ibom Air Incident: Whoever Posted Comfort Emmason’s Half-naked Video Must Be Arrested – Simi

A recent incident on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos involving passenger Comfort Emmason has sparked outrage, with singer Simi calling for the arrest of whoever posted a half-naked video of Emmason online. The incident occurred when Emmason allegedly refused to follow crew instructions to switch off her phone before takeoff, leading to a confrontation with another passenger.

Things escalated upon landing, with Emmason reportedly attacking a flight attendant and attempting to use a fire extinguisher as a weapon. Security officers intervened, and Emmason was taken into custody, arraigned, and remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Centre.

Ibom Air has since banned her for life. Simi condemned the invasion of Emmason's privacy and called for accountability for those who filmed and posted the video, emphasizing that such actions should not go unpunished.
