ICPC Petitioned to Investigate Ex-Police DIG Over Alleged Multi-Billion Naira Assets

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has been petitioned to probe retired Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Dasuki Galad over allegations of owning multi-billion naira assets not in line with his legitimate earnings. The petition, filed by a civic accountability organization, raises suspicions about the former police chief's connection to high-value properties in Kano and Abuja.

The group calls for a full financial forensic investigation by the ICPC and the Police Service Commission (PSC) to address concerns of financial crimes and potential abuse of office.
