ICPC Requests No-Fly Order on Adeniyi Adeyemi Over Fraud

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has filed an ex parte motion in the Federal High Court in Abuja seeking a no-fly order on Adeniyi Adeyemi, who is associated with the alleged fraudulent activities of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). The motion, filed by counsel Fatima A.

Bardi, requests that the Nigeria Immigration Service place Adeyemi on a watchlist and no-fly list due to his alleged involvement in the diversion of N1.3 billion. The ICPC aims to prevent Adeyemi from leaving the jurisdiction while investigations are ongoing.

The application also seeks an order for Adeyemi to surrender all international passports and travel documents. The ICPC's investigation claims that Adeyemi falsely presented himself as the Director-General of the PFIPC, which lacks lawful establishment.

The hearing was adjourned to November 10, 2026, due to the absence of legal representation from the ICPC.
