‘If I Were Part Of Tinubu Government, I Probably Would Have Been Sacked Or Killed’ – Babachir Lawal

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, expressed his belief that if he were part of Bola Tinubu's government, he would have been either sacked or killed. Lawal, who was sacked following a report on his alleged involvement in corruption, criticized the Tinubu-led government for nepotism and creating hardship for Nigerians through its policies.

He accused the present administration of still paying subsidies despite the President's announcement of its removal. Lawal also criticized Tinubu for giving appointments to people and described Yoruba people as ungrateful for not acknowledging the contributions of others to political victories.

The former APC member has since joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and made these statements on Channels Television's Politics Today show.
