He advised church members that if they are kidnapped, they should provide their abductors with his phone number.

Oyedepo recounted past incidents involving church members who were kidnapped, highlighting a specific case where he intervened by warning the kidnappers of dire consequences if the victim was not released promptly. He emphasized the need for faith and courage in the face of such challenges, urging members not to succumb to fear.

Oyedepo also shared a testimony of a female member who was released after a period of confusion among her abductors, indicating the power of spiritual intervention.
