"If Tinubu Dumps Shettima in 2027": APC Forum Reveals What Will Happen

The APC Forum has cautioned President Bola Tinubu against dropping Vice President Shettima in 2027, warning that such a move could cost the party 80% of the northern Muslim vote. The warning came in a statement released by Forum Chairman Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga and a member of the APC campaign council for the 2023 presidential election.

Critics have argued that this strategy could backfire in 2027. The Northern Ethnic Nationality Forum led by Dominic Alancha has also warned against changing the winning team, claiming that such a move could weaken Tinubu's chances in the Middle Belt area where Christian voters hold significant influence.

The Forum urged Tinubu to consider the strategic electoral choice and avoid unnecessary risks in changing the winning team. They accused those opposing Shettima of trying to undermine the President's bid.
