Igbo Women Rally Behind Sowore's Protest for Kanu's Release

Igbo women under the Igbos for Women Assembly (IWA) back Omoyele Sowore's October 20 protest seeking Nnamdi Kanu's release. They criticize the Nigerian government for Kanu's prolonged detention, labeling it as unjust and politically motivated.

The group calls for unity against perceived injustices and commends non-Igbo Nigerians supporting Kanu's release. Notable figures like Goodluck Jonathan, Atiku Abubakar, and others have also voiced their concerns.

The IWA plans to participate in the protest and urges President Bola Tinubu to heed the growing calls for Kanu's unconditional release.
