IGP Disu Reshuffles Nigeria Police Leadership with New Postings

On Tuesday, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Disu announced a comprehensive reshuffle within the Nigeria Police Force, aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and enhancing leadership capacity. The postings involve senior officers assigned to various strategic positions across the country.

Key appointments include AIG Ado Emmanuel as the head of research at police headquarters in Abuja, AIG Joseph Eribo overseeing the armament department, and AIG Miller G. Dantaway in charge of operations.

Other notable postings include AIG Olanrewaju Peter Ogunlowo to the police affairs branch and AIG Dahiru Moham to Zone 15 in Maiduguri. Additionally, several Commissioners of Police (CP) were assigned to various state commands, including CP Olugbenga Ayodeji Abimbola to Oyo State and CP Yemi John Oyeniyi to the training department.

The IGP emphasized the importance of professionalism and discipline in discharging duties, urging the officers to bring their wealth of experience to their new roles.
