IHS Nigeria Showcases 19 Startups to Global Investors

IHS Nigeria, in collaboration with the Ilorin Innovation Hub, presented 19 startups to global investors, highlighting the innovative capabilities of Nigerian entrepreneurs. The event coincided with the first anniversary of the Ilorin Innovation Hub, located in Ilorin, Kwara State, which spans 13,000 square meters and accommodates 1,000 users.

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun represented the state government, emphasizing their commitment to fostering an enabling environment for innovation.

The hub aims to cultivate a thriving community of innovators and support young people in developing impactful solutions. Akeem Adeshina, Chief Commercial Officer of IHS Nigeria, stressed that innovation requires sustainable infrastructure.

Kazeem Oladepo, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, noted the hub's success in nurturing talent and transforming communities. The showcased startups addressed various challenges, particularly in energy access and waste sustainability, reflecting a broad spectrum of innovative solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and societal impact.
