IHS Nigeria Commits to Sustainable Telecom Practices

IHS Nigeria reiterated its commitment to fostering a sustainable, resilient, and inclusive telecommunications and technology sector during a stakeholder breakfast session hosted by the Telecommunications and Technology Sustainability Working Group (TTSWG) in Abuja. Titilope Oguntuga, the Director of Sustainability at IHS Nigeria, highlighted the significance of the dialogue in promoting practical sustainability solutions across the sector.

She noted that the gathering allowed stakeholders to assess progress and pinpoint areas needing further collaboration on environmental, social, and governance priorities. Abdu-Waya Mohammed, Chairman of the TTSWG Board, discussed the strategy's role in enhancing collaboration around sustainability within the telecommunications and technology ecosystem.

Bankole Oloruntoba, Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Climate Innovation Center, characterized TTSWG as a multi-stakeholder platform aimed at advancing sustainability in the telecommunications and technology sectors.
