Ijesa North Monarchs Endorse Olajengbesi for 2027 Elections

The Ijesa North Traditional Ruler Council has officially endorsed Pelumi Olajengbesi in his bid to represent the Oriad Obokun Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections. This endorsement occurred during a town hall meeting held at the council's headquarters in Iloko, Ijesa.

The council, led by Oba Olufemi Agunsoy of Ijebu Jesa, expressed strong confidence in Olajengbesi's capabilities to deliver democratic dividends to the people. Olajengbesi, a 40-year-old lawyer from Ijebu Jesa, is also the spokesman for the Imol Campaign Council for the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke and is involved with the Imol Grassroot Mobilization Network for the Osun 2027 elections.

He is set to challenge the current lawmaker, Wole Ok, of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The council's chairman, Oba Ayelabola Oladoyinbo, praised Olajengbesi's wife and expressed belief that he would excel in his role as a representative, emphasizing the need for effective youth representation and an end to outdated ideas.
