Enugu Rangers Sweep 2026 League Bloggers Awards

Enugu Rangers had a remarkable showing at the 2026 League Bloggers Awards held at Cordi Hotel in Ikeja, where they claimed significant honors. Head coach Fide Ilechukwu was awarded Coach of the Season, while captain Chidieber Nwobodo walked away with the Player of the Season title.

The team also celebrated striker Godwin Obaj, who scored 14 goals, earning him a joint top scorer prize. Additionally, defender Chidozi Iwundu was recognized for his performance, and five Rangers players were named in the Team of the Season.

Off the pitch, Enugu State Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah received the inaugural League Bloggers Awards Legacy Award, acknowledging the club's growth and commercial competitiveness. Other notable awards included Alex Oweilayefa from Bendel Insurance as Best Young Player and Michael Atata from Ikorodu City as Goalkeeper of the Season.

Barau Joseph Atul was awarded Goal of the Season, while Ayabomi Junior was named Midfielder of the Season.
