Rangers Extends Coach Ilechukwu's Contract to 2027

Rangers has officially extended the contract of their title-winning coach, Ilechukwu, until the end of the 2026-2027 season. The announcement was made via a video posted on the social media platform X.

Ilechukwu, who has previously coached Plateau United and MFM FC, has been instrumental in leading Rangers to two league titles in three seasons. He is one of the few coaches to have won the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) multiple times.

As part of his new contract, Ilechukwu will guide the team in defending its league title and competing for a place in the money-spinning group phase of the CAF Champions League. The club expressed confidence in Ilechukwu's abilities and commitment to the future, stating that they look forward to continuing their journey together.

Ilechukwu's tenure at Rangers has marked a significant turnaround, ending an eight-year title drought in his first year in charge.
