ADC Candidate Pidomson Warns Against Election Rigging

Gabriel Baritulem Pidomson, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for Rivers State, issued a warning to potential election riggers ahead of the 2027 governorship election. In a viral video, Pidomson stated he would not resort to post-election litigation but would confront those responsible for manipulating election results.

He asserted that his campaign team would actively work to prevent electoral fraud, emphasizing that rigging would not simply end in court. Pidomson's remarks coincide with heightened political activities as candidates seek support across the state.

In July, he received a delegation of Igbo Title Holders in Rivers State, led by Eze Mike Okokoba and High Chief Samuel Okorie, who pledged their support for his governorship ambition. Pidomson described the Igbo community as integral to Rivers State and promised an inclusive governance model.

Senator Andrew Uchendu, ADC Deputy National Chairman, urged the delegation to support the movement to restore effective governance in the state.
