Governor Uba Sani Overhauls Kaduna Transportation Sector with Light Rail Project

Governor Uba Sani is spearheading a transformative project in Kaduna's transportation sector, collaborating with the Kaduna State government, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), and Lagos State. The initiative includes the Kaduna Light Rail project and the Kaduna Subsidized Transport Scheme, aiming to enhance efficiency, safety, and security for commuters.

The project will feature a dedicated 24km corridor, with 120 buses running on CNG to reduce carbon emissions and save costs. Additionally, the scheme will create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, while also modernizing the state's transport network.
