Nigerian Immigration Service Inaugurates 108 Anti-Corruption Desk Officers Nationwide

The Nigerian Immigration Service, led by Comptroller General Kemi Nandap, has launched 108 anti-corruption desk officers across the country as part of efforts to strengthen accountability and integrity within the agency. These officers will focus on enlightening, deterring, and punishing corrupt practices within the service.

Nandap emphasized the importance of creating an environment free from obstruction and intimidation to uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. The initiative received support from the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) and the Nigerian Army, with officials pledging to collaborate in promoting transparency and ethical conduct.

The move aims to address corrupt risks, enhance compliance with regulations, and maintain a professional and transparent immigration agency.
