Court Adjourns Fubara and Odu's Impeachment Suits Indefinitely Pending Appeals

The court in Port Harcourt has indefinitely adjourned the suits filed by Siminalayi Fubara and Prof. Ngozi Odu challenging the impeachment process against Governor Fubara.

The suits aimed to restrain the River State House of Assembly from proceeding with the impeachment. The court adjourned the case following appeals by the defendants' legal team, led by Amaewhule Ameh.

The appeals will be heard before further proceedings. Notably, the suits involve key political figures like Bola Tinubu, Nyesom Wike, and Daniel Bwala, who reaffirmed Fubara's leadership in the APC.
