Ndume Critiques Tinubu's Aides Over Incompetence

Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno South, expressed concerns about the incompetence of certain aides within President Bola Tinubu's administration, stating that their actions are causing embarrassment. During an interview on Arise Television's Prime Time programme on Wednesday, Ndume did not name specific individuals but warned that unless decisive action is taken, these aides would continue to undermine the president.

He referenced the recent discovery of a fake government agency operating under the administration, which he believes could have been prevented with capable personnel. Ndume also commented on the removal of the fuel subsidy, describing it as a difficult decision that has led to hardship for Nigerians, despite some public support for the policy.

He criticized the current approach of the presidential campaign committee, suggesting that the president should not be involved in selling the party's product. Ndume concluded by stating that the aides around the president are a significant problem, focusing more on personal attacks rather than substantive issues.
