Ahead of the World Cup last 16 game against Mexico, England's hotel has seen increased security measures due to disturbances from Mexican fans. The match is set for Sunday at 01:00 BST.

Mexican fans reportedly caused noise complaints at the hotel where Ecuador was staying, using loudspeakers and horns late at night. England's team is staying at an undisclosed location to prevent local fans from gathering, as hundreds waited outside the hotel for the team coach's arrival on Friday.

Police in riot gear were stationed outside the hotel to manage the situation. FIFA is considering moving the match forward by six hours due to forecasted storms.

The Football Association of Mexico (FMF) expressed anger over the proposed change with less than 48 hours before kickoff. England faces challenges playing at high altitude in Mexico City, which is approximately 2,240 meters above sea level, affecting oxygen availability for athletes.
