Indian police arrested Ezeaputa Chijioke, a Nigerian man, on October 6 for his alleged involvement in supplying cocaine to club-goers in India. He was apprehended with approximately 70.5 grammes of cocaine during an operation that began on October 4.
The police had previously arrested Rakesh Kumar, a private cab driver, who was found with 22.1 grammes of cocaine and named Jaskaran Gill as his supplier. Gill was arrested the same day in Dehradun and reportedly disclosed that he sourced cocaine from Chijioke.
The investigation revealed that Kumar delivered cocaine on Gill's instructions, receiving Rs 500 for each delivery. The police also recovered 21.30 grammes of cocaine, three vehicles, and an ATM card linked to financial transactions from Gill.
