Three Europeans Arrested for Pornography in Bali

On Tuesday, Indonesian police detained three Europeans—two French nationals and one Italian—on suspicion of producing and distributing pornographic content in Bali. The police chief, Joseph Edward Purba of the Badung District, reported that the trio, consisting of two men and one woman, was arrested while attempting to profit from pornographic video content.

Under Indonesian law, they could face up to 10 years in prison for these charges. The incident follows a recent trend of increased scrutiny on foreign tourists in Bali, particularly regarding unruly behavior and violations of local laws.

Last year, British adult film star Bonni Blue was deported from Bali after receiving a fine for traffic violations linked to similar investigations. The latest arrests were prompted by a viral video containing pornographic content that circulated on social media, leading to further investigations by immigration officials.
