INEC Chairman Amupitan Vows Collaboration With NASS for Credible Elections

INEC Chairman Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan announced plans to partner with the National Assembly to enhance the credibility and transparency of Nigeria's electoral process.

Speaking at the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers conference held at Federal University Lokoja, Amupitan emphasized the need for a fair and transparent electoral system to reduce post-election disputes. He also highlighted the importance of legislative reforms to address past electoral challenges.

Amupitan, who assumed office in October following Mahmood Yakubu, aims to uphold the standards set by his predecessor for the upcoming elections.
