INEC Excludes Two Polling Units from Anambra Governorship Election Due to Absence of Registered Voters

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the exclusion of two polling units from the upcoming Anambra Governorship Election scheduled for November 8. This decision was made due to the absence of registered voters affecting those units.

INEC Chairman disclosed this information during a meeting in Awka. Additionally, INEC has deployed 24,000 personnel to ensure the smooth conduct of the election.

Security arrangements have been put in place, with the National Security Adviser (NSA) representatives assuring stakeholders of proactive measures to prevent disruptions and urging political actors to discourage violence.
