INEC Meets PDP Factions to Resolve Leadership Crisis

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) intervened in the People's Democratic Party (PDP) leadership crisis by meeting with factions led by Abdulrahman Mohammed and Tanimu Turaki at its headquarters in Abuja. The closed-door meeting aimed to resolve the leadership conflict within the party ahead of upcoming elections.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, assured neutrality and adherence to electoral laws.

Key attendees included Nyesom Wike and former Governor Babangida Aliyu. The meeting proceeded behind closed doors for frank discussions on achieving reconciliation and moving forward.
