Ini Edo Responds to CAN Over 'A Very Dirty Christmas' Controversy

Nollywood actress and film producer Ini Edo has addressed the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) over the title of her movie "A Very Dirty Christmas," emphasizing that it was not intended to offend or demean the Christian faith. She explained that the title was metaphorical and meant to spark conversations, not disrespect Christmas.

Edo highlighted that the film had met all regulatory requirements for release in Nigeria, including approval from the NFVCB and NCC. She expressed surprise at the objections raised and reiterated that neither she nor her production team intended to ridicule the essence of Christmas.
