Ini Edo Emotional Over Backlash on Christmas Movie Title Controversy

Nigerian actress and filmmaker Ini Edo received criticism from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) over the title of her new Christmas movie, leading to emotional breakdown during an Instagram live session. Edo expressed regret over the controversy and clarified that she had no intention to disrespect God or Christians.

She requested time to modify the title and urged Christians to watch the movie before passing judgment. The Nigeria Film and Video Censors Board responded to the complaint, indicating that Edo would adjust the movie's title.

Edo also praised Taraji P. Henson's acting skills during the incident.
