Dream Initiative HDI Empowers 2,500 Nigerian Schoolgirls to Report Sexual Violence

The Dream Initiative HDI is empowering 2,500 schoolgirls in Nigeria to report sexual violence through a comprehensive program supported by the Pollination Project. The initiative aims to eradicate rape culture by equipping young girls with the confidence to speak out against abuse.

The Heritage Founder and Executive Director of HDI highlighted the importance of educating students on sexual violence prevention and survivor empowerment. The program, initially piloted in Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo States, is expanding to 15 government schools across the country.

By providing tools like the Sexual Violence Survivor Guide, the initiative seeks to drive systemic change and empower young girls to combat sexual violence effectively.
