PadHer Receives $140k Grant to Expand Menstrual Health Education in Ghana

Nigerian initiative PadHer secures a $140,000 grant to expand menstrual health education in Ghana. The grant enables PadHer to empower schoolgirls in Africa with knowledge on menstrual and sexual health through innovative methods like comic books and digital games.

The grant marks a significant milestone for PadHer, allowing them to partner with Girls Club Ghana to educate thousands of girls on reusable sanitary products. The founder, Chika Nwaogu, expressed gratitude for the support, highlighting PadHer's impact across Africa.

The initiative's unique approach has gained international recognition, being listed on the EduEvidence Global EdTech Evidence List and recognized by HundrED. PadHer aims to break taboos and boost confidence among African schoolgirls.
