Kano Deputy Governor Urges Nigerian Media to Stay Vigilant on Security Challenges

Kano Deputy Governor Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has called on the Nigerian media to exercise vigilance and resilience in reporting on the country's security challenges. During a visit by the Kano NUJ correspondents, he emphasized the media's role in drawing government attention to rising security threats and holding authorities accountable.

The media was urged to push the government towards effective action in addressing insecurity. The Chairman of the Correspondents Chapel, Murtala Adewal, pledged to maintain a strong relationship with the government.

Abdullahi Yusuf, a seasoned journalist, also emphasized the importance of the media in confronting challenges.
