Kano Governor Organizes Mass Prayer Session Against Banditry

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf gathered 4,444 Qur’an reciters for a special prayer session at the Government House to address the growing threat of banditry in the state. The event was attended by notable figures including the 16th Fulani Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II.

Governor Yusuf emphasized the need for unity in combating insecurity, stating that it affects everyone regardless of political affiliations. The mass prayer session was described as a vital spiritual effort to restore peace in the state.

Additionally, the Governor highlighted ongoing infrastructure developments aimed at enhancing security operations in rural communities like Faruruwa in Shanono Local Government Area.
