Amstel Malta Celebrates Igbo Heritage at August Meeting

The August Meeting 2026 in Enugu celebrated Igbo heritage, with Amstel Malta reaffirming its commitment to the event. The gathering saw Igbo women from Nigeria and the diaspora reconnecting and contributing to community development.

Prominent attendees included the First Lady of Enugu State and Hon. Ngozi Enyi, the Commissioner for Children, Gender Affairs and Social Development. The Corporate Affairs Manager, East, Nigerian Breweries Plc, spoke about women's resilience and their societal contributions, emphasizing Amstel Malta's role in recognizing women.

Beyond the festivities, Amstel Malta supported a government women’s empowerment initiative, awarding grants to two women entrepreneurs from different senatorial zones in Enugu State to bolster their businesses. The Senior Brand Manager of Amstel Malta noted that the brand's participation extended beyond hospitality, creating memorable experiences while providing tangible resources to empower women entrepreneurs and enhance community impact.
