Kosoko Royal Family Urges Sanwo-Olu to Install Prince Abiola Olojo Kosoko as Oloja of Lagos

The Kosoko Royal Family in Lagos has appealed to Governor Sanwo-Olu to approve the installation of Prince Abiola Olojo Kosoko as the next Oloja of Lagos. The position has been vacant for four years since the death of Chief Adeola Idri Disu in 2017.

The family emphasized the adherence to customary chieftaincy procedures and legal requirements, citing a committee's selection of Prince Abiola in December 2020. They referenced legal documents affirming the validity of the family's succession process.
