NELFUND Extends Student Loan Application Deadline

The Nigerian Educ Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced an extension of the student loan application portal, providing institutions additional time to submit formal requests. This extension is designed to enable eligible students to complete their applications for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The statement was signed by NELFUND's Director of Strategic Communications, Mr. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, and was released on Thursday in Abuja.

The extension is strictly contingent upon institutions submitting official requests to NELFUND. Akintund Sawyerr, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NELFUND, reaffirmed the fund's commitment to ensuring access to student loan programs for eligible Nigerian students.

NELFUND aims to remove financial barriers to higher education in Nigeria and encourages eligible students to take advantage of the extended application period to complete their applications on the official NELFUND portal.
