NELFUND Extends Student Loan Application Portal Deadline

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced an extension of its application portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. This decision comes in response to pressure and a formal request from participating institutions, allowing eligible students additional time to complete their applications.

Mr. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, the Director of Strategic Communications at NELFUND, confirmed that the extension is strictly for institutions that submit an official request. Akintund Sawyerr, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NELFUND, reaffirmed the organization's commitment to ensuring access to student loan programs for eligible Nigerian students.

NELFUND encourages affected institutions to take advantage of this extension and complete applications via the official NELFUND portal.
