Interswitch Partners with Temenos to Enhance Banking in Africa

Interswitch Group has announced a partnership with Temenos, a global leader in banking technology, to enhance digital banking capabilities across several key African markets, including Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, and Kenya. This partnership aims to expand access to modern financial services.

The collaboration will allow Interswitch to utilize Temenos' solutions across core banking, digital banking, payments, wealth management, and financial crime prevention. The services will be offered through cloud-hosted and on-premises management for financial institutions across Africa.

Jonah Adam, Managing Director of Digital Infrastructure and Managed Services at Interswitch, emphasized the importance of this partnership in adopting Temenos' cloud-native composable platform, which will provide Interswitch with the flexibility and scalability needed for growth. William Moronei, Chief Revenue Officer at Temenos, described Interswitch as an important customer partner in Africa, highlighting the adaptability of the platform to innovate banking services tailored to the African market.
