Interswitch Partners with NSSF Uganda to Drive Financial Inclusion

Interswitch Group has signed a partnership deal with Nation Social Security Fund (NSSF) Uganda to drive financial inclusion by leveraging digital payment solutions. The collaboration with Quicktel, a multi-trillion fund mandated by the Ugandan government, will provide social security services to eligible employees in Uganda.

The partnership, unveiled at a ceremony, is part of NSSF's strategic plan to expand social security coverage to 50% of Uganda's workforce by 2035. Patrick Ayota, NSSF Managing Director, highlighted the importance of the partnership in reaching more Ugandans through convenient digital channels like USSD and online platforms, bridging the gap for those who prefer human interaction.
