IPOB Accuses Political Actors of Framing Nnamdi Kanu as Terrorist Without Evidence

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has vehemently claimed that the conviction of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is unjust and rooted in "engineered insecurity" in the South East region. Kanu, who was extradited from Kenya in 2021, is accused of orchestrating violence without evidence.

IPOB alleges that the trial judge's attribution of insecurity in the region to Kanu is baseless and aims to tarnish his image. The group calls for international intervention and insists on Kanu's innocence in the alleged crimes.
