Iranian Football Team Awaits U.S. Visas for World Cup

The Iranian national football team is facing difficulties as they await U.S. visas, which are crucial for their participation in the upcoming World Cup. Ambassador Abolfazl Pasandideh stated that the team has not received the necessary visas, making it challenging for them to train effectively before the tournament.

The Iranian team plans to base their training camp in Tucson, Arizona, but the uncertainty surrounding visa approvals complicates their preparations. The team is scheduled to play three group matches in the U.S., with games set for June 15 against New Zealand in Los Angeles, June 21 against Belgium in Seattle, and June 26 against Egypt.

The ambassador expressed concerns that the U.S. is not fulfilling its responsibilities as the host nation, and he remains uncertain whether the players will receive the required visas.
