Ireland Opens Scholarship Applications for Nigerians in 2026

The Ireland Embassy in Nigeria has announced that applications for the Ireland Fellow Programme will open on June 29, 2026. This program offers fully funded master's degree opportunities for mid-career professionals from Nigeria and Ghana.

Eligible applicants must possess at least a bachelor's degree with a minimum second class lower division and have at least three years of relevant work experience. The fellowship includes coverage for tuition fees, a monthly accommodation stipend, flight costs, visa expenses, and health insurance.

Additionally, the program includes the Roger Casement Fellowship, which focuses on human rights master's programs in law and governance. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications through the official Ireland Fellow Programme portal starting June 29, 2026, with the application window closing on July 26, 2026.
