Isabell Idibia, daughter of music icon 2Baba and actress Annie Idibia, has given her first public account of adjusting to her parents' marital breakdown. During an appearance on Yanga 89.9FM's What's Up Naija segment in early September, the teenager acknowledged that the split has impacted her life but stated that her situation is improving over time.

Her candid remarks offer rare insight into how the family's highly publicised separation is affecting the younger generation. When asked directly about her ties to her half-siblings—children 2Baba fathered with other women—Isabell responded warmly and straightforwardly, indicating that family relationships remain intact despite the household upheaval.

The sources do not specify the exact nature of those bonds, only that she addressed the question with directness rather than avoidance. Isabell also discussed her mother's friendship with celebrity stylist Swanky Jerry, characterising the relationship as genuine rather than performative.
