Nnamdi Kanu's Lawyer Recounts Traumatic Experience at Kuje Prison

Ejimakor, the lead counsel for Nnamdi Kanu, described his traumatic experience with the Nigerian police after being arrested alongside Kanu's brother, Emmanuel, during a protest in Abuja. Despite being granted bail by a magistrate court in Kuje, Ejimakor collapsed the next day allegedly due to the refusal to sign a bail bond.

The incident involved a total of twelve individuals, including Emmanuel Kanu, who were arrested and taken to Kuje Prison. Ejimakor's deteriorating health condition led to his transfer to a hospital from the prison clinic.
