Godwin Kienka Receives Two Sports Awards in One Month

Godwin Kienka, the Director of the International Tennis Academy, was honored with two sports awards within a month, recognizing his significant contributions to tennis in Nigeria. The first award was presented on March 7, 2023, during the South-South Interclub Tennis Association Annual General Meeting and National Championship held in Benin, where Sir Emem Akpabio, the president, acknowledged Kienka's immense dedication to the sport.

The second award, a special recognition from Sportsville, took place on April 3, 2023, in Ikeja, Lagos. Kienka has been involved in sports development consulting and has authored three books, with his latest titled "Sport Nigeria Go Round." He is also noted for being the first Black African to become an international official with the International Tennis Federation and served as the chairman of the Sports Reform Committee under the Solomon Dalung administration.

His work has been impactful in Nigerian sports history.
