Italian Press Explains Why AC Milan Should Not Sign Super Eagles Star Victor Boniface

The Italian press has advised against AC Milan signing Super Eagles star Victor Boniface due to his injury history. The Serie A club is reportedly considering a deal with Bayern Leverkusen for the Nigerian forward, including a loan fee of €2 million and a buyout option of €8 million to keep him at San Siro until 2030.

Boniface has had two ligament injuries during his time in the Norwegian league from 2019 to 2022, as well as a recent thigh injury that caused him to miss 12 matches. The newspaper also highlighted that he lost his starting spot to Patrick Schick and new signing Christian Kofane at Leverkusen.

Despite this, founder of Padimi Sports Foundation Kolapo praised Boniface's resilience and urged Nigerians to support him. Boniface himself has expressed interest in joining a Premier League team, emphasizing the importance of complementing their strength and playing style.
