Eze Critiques Sara-Igbe's Comparison of Amaechi and Wike

Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed his disapproval of Anab Sara-Igbe's comparison between former governors Rotimi Amaechi and Nyesom Wike. In an interview with Symfoni TV, Eze pointed out the significant differences between the two leaders, particularly in their federal appointments and contributions to the Niger Delta region.

He questioned why a prominent elder from Rivers State would make such a comparison, suggesting it undermines the historical context of their political journeys. Eze highlighted that Wike's current political status was not achieved without the foundational contributions made by Amaechi, who previously served as the Minister of Transport.

He issued a statement on Tuesday, urging respect for the political history of Rivers State and cautioning against dismissing the impact of Amaechi's leadership on Wike's ascent in politics.
