Patience Ozokwor Urges Parents to Let Kids Face Hardship

Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor, also known as Mama G, has criticized parents who overly protect their children from hardship. In a recent interview with media personality Femi Baba, she stated that the fastest way to ruin a child's life is by preventing them from experiencing struggle and hard work.

Ozokwor shared her personal experience of evicting her son from their home to encourage him to make a living independently. She emphasized the importance of raising children with discipline and hard work, noting that her own children are doing well as a result.

Ozokwor advised parents against denying their children the opportunity to face challenges out of love, warning that such actions could lead to conflicts over inheritance in the future. She stated, “When you’re gone, they may start fighting over your property,” and firmly told her son, “My house isn’t yours.
