Dangote on 36 Years in Home and Africa's Industrialization

Aliko Dangote, recognized as Africa's richest man, revealed during an interview with ARISE News that he has resided in his current home for 36 years and has no intention of relocating, expressing comfort in his living situation. He criticized the spending habits of affluent Africans, particularly those who purchase private jets without investing in productive assets like factories, stating that such behavior does not contribute to economic growth.

Dangote emphasized his commitment to using his wealth to foster industrialization in Africa, asserting that his legacy would focus on enhancing the continent's productive capacity. He noted the growing interest of foreign investors in Africa, who seek substantial investment opportunities.

Dangote called for a shift in private capital from symbols of personal wealth to investments in factories and other productive assets that can create jobs and stimulate economic expansion.
