Eight Actions for Global Gender Equality by UN Chief

He stresses the importance of investing in women's education and health, noting that every dollar spent on girls' education yields nearly threefold returns. Additionally, he calls for women's inclusion in peace negotiations, citing that when women participate, peace agreements are more durable.

Guterres urges global commitment to dismantling discriminatory practices and ensuring women's rights are protected, particularly in conflict zones like Gaza, Ukraine, and Sudan, where women bear the brunt of violence and instability.
