NSITF Boss Advocates for Women's Empowerment on IWD

On International Women's Day, Barrister Oluwaseun Falayi, the Managing Director of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), stated that empowering women is not merely a moral obligation but an economic and social necessity. The event, organized by the Trade Union Congress Women Commission in Abuja, focused on the theme of women's empowerment as a pathway to equal rights and social justice.

Falayi acknowledged the significant contributions of Nigerian women to national development but lamented the barriers that limit their access to opportunities. He urged stakeholders to commit to creating safe workplaces for women, ensuring fair wages, and providing access to social protection.
